Process Tag Types

From an existing chart or a new chart, you can create a Process Tag Type.

Process Tag Types are automatically installed in the Process Tag Types folder in the Master Data Library as soon as a new Process Tag Type is generated from a CFC chart.

The CFC chart that generates the new Process Tag Type is not affected.

When you instantiate a Process Tag Type in your project, you are creating a Process Tag. Example: In the Reactor project, V112 is a Process Tag of type Process Tag Type Valve_Lean.

From a chart (a Process Tag Type), already created and tested, several charts can be replicated (new Process Tags), generating gains of productivity and maintaining the standardization of the project.
